Newberry Soil & Water Conservation District provides two $1000 scholarships for graduating seniors or current college student from Newberry County that attend secondary schools with programs in Ag education, environmental natural resource field, or any related field.
Keep Newberry County Beautiful provides two $1000 scholarships to graduating seniors or current college student from Newberry County that attend secondary schools with programs in conservation efforts. Students must be involved in the community.

Emma Wicker from Little Mountain SC, William Folk from Prosperity SC, and Gracie Baker from Newberry SC.
Emma applied for and won her 3rd year for both Newberry Soil & Water Conservation District and Keep Newberry County Beautiful $1000 scholarships. She attends Newberry College and is pursuing a degree in Biology with a focus on Environmental studies.
William Folk is attending Clemson University, his intended degree in Forestry Managment Resources. This is his third $1000 scholarship from NSWCD.
Gracie Baker graduated Newberry Academy. She plans to attend USC to get a degree in Pharmaceutical Science.
